Find your voice. Sharpen your message. Make better content.

I help small businesses get crystal clear on what they say, who they say it to, and how to create content that turns strangers into customers.

Let's talk about your message
The truth

Let's be honest about content.

Content is a grind. Doing it consistently — actually showing up week after week — is a grind. Even with a good system it can feel that way. Without a system, it's worse. That's why most people are hit or miss, or they stop altogether.

And here's the thing nobody in this industry wants to say out loud: most of you didn't get into business to become famous. You didn't start your company so you could be a social media star. I know I didn't. But here you are, being told that you need to post every day, start a podcast, launch a YouTube channel, build a personal brand — on top of actually running your business.

It's a double-edged sword. You know content matters. You've seen it work for other people. But it can be really hard to tell if all the effort, the time, the sacrifice of trying to "do content" is even worth it. Is anyone even watching? Will this ever pay off? You posted for three months and got 47 views and thought — why am I doing this?

I'll say what most people are thinking: if you had all the customers you wanted, all the growth you needed, all the money you could ever ask for — you'd probably never post on social media about your business ever again. And that's fine. That's honest. Content isn't the point. Content is the vehicle.

The problem isn't that you're not doing enough content. It's that the content you're making doesn't have a clear message behind it. So it feels like a grind because you're putting in the work without seeing the return. You're creating without clarity — and content without clarity is just noise that exhausts you.

The belief

Make better content.

Three words. One conviction. Everything I do comes back to this.

But let me be honest about what "better" actually means — because I'm not going to paint an unrealistic picture of the road ahead.

You have to do volume. There's no shortcut around that. It's hard to get good at anything without doing a lot of it, and content is no different. You're not going to post five videos and wake up with a full pipeline. The people you admire who make it look effortless? They made hundreds of pieces of content before it clicked. That part doesn't change.

What changes is how fast you get good.

And I need to say this — because you've probably already heard the other pitch. Every social media influencer out there is selling you the viral framework. The hook formula. The trending audio. The algorithm hack that's going to blow you up overnight. And look, some of that stuff can help. Viral trends can be useful. Understanding basic marketing and psychology principles matters. I'm not dismissing any of it.

Do you want to go viral, or do you want to create content that has meaning?

Content that speaks directly to your best customers. Content that's a reflection of you, your brand, who you actually are. Because those are two very different goals — and most people are chasing the wrong one.

Going viral gets you views. A clear message gets you customers.

Most people start making content with no message, no strategy, and no clear picture of who they're talking to. So they grind out a hundred pieces of content and they're still lost at piece one hundred and one. They did the reps, but the reps didn't compound because there was nothing underneath them.

I help you get your message right, find your voice, and build a real strategy before you start grinding — so that when you do the volume (and you will), every piece is better than it would have been without that foundation. You still have to put in the work. You're just better sooner.

And you're going to have to be willing to be cringe at first. I say that with love, because I've lived it.

About ten years ago I created a Facebook group where I was the only member. Just me. Zero people in this group. And I went live every single day and spoke on camera about a particular topic — to nobody. It was horrible. I had nerves, I stumbled over my words, and I wasn't even speaking to anyone. But eventually I got better. A little less cringy. Although that didn't save me from a string of truly unbearable posts and videos trying to recruit people into an MLM around that same time. I was reasonably successful too, by MLM standards — which almost makes the cringe worse. Those posts are almost unwatchable now.

But here's the point: that's the road. Everyone's first videos are bad. Everyone's early content makes them wince when they look back at it. The difference between people who build something real and people who quit is that the people who build kept going anyway. We'll work together to make it as painless as possible — to get your message clear so that even your early content is better than it would have been on your own — but you have to be willing to start before you're ready.

How I help

Here's what working together looks like.

Foundation

Messaging & brand voice

This is where everything starts. Before you record a single video or write a single caption, we get clear on the foundation. Who are you talking to — specifically? What do they actually care about? What makes you the obvious choice over every other option they have? And how do you say it in a way that sounds like you, not like everyone else in your industry?

We find your voice, craft your core message, and build the language that becomes the through-line for everything you create. This is the work that makes all the other work actually work.

Engine

Content strategy & production

Once your message is locked, we build the engine around it. I help with the full lifecycle — from ideation and planning to capture and post-production. We figure out what to talk about, how to structure it, and how to turn it into finished content that works on YouTube, podcasts, social media, and beyond.

No filler. No fluff. Just content that earns trust and drives action. You handle distribution — but I'll help you build the strategy for that too.

Home

Website design & build

Your website is your message's permanent home. It's where strangers go to decide if you're worth their time. I design and build websites around the same messaging foundation — so every page, every headline, every call to action speaks directly to your ideal customer.

Not template sites with stock photos and generic copy. Sites that say the right thing to the right person and actually convert.

The process

How it works.

01

We talk.

You tell me about your business, your customers, your goals. I listen for the things you can't see because you're too close to it — the gaps in your message, the missed opportunities, the story you're not telling yet.

02

We get clear.

I help you articulate who you are, who you serve, and why it matters — in language that's unmistakably yours. This isn't a branding exercise with mood boards and color palettes. It's the hard work of finding the words that make the right people feel something.

03

We build.

Whether it's a content strategy, a website, or a full production plan, we build on the foundation of your message. Nothing gets created until we both know exactly what it needs to say and who it needs to reach.

04

You grow.

Your content starts working because it's finally saying the right thing. Strangers become followers. Followers become leads. Leads become customers. Customers become people who send their friends.

The fit

Is this for you?

This is for you if...

You're a business owner with real expertise and a great product or service — but your content doesn't reflect how good you actually are.

You've tried posting on social media, maybe even started a YouTube channel or a podcast, but it felt random and you couldn't stay consistent because you never had a clear plan.

You know content matters. You see your competitors doing it. You just need someone to sit down with you, help you figure out your message, and build a plan that actually makes sense for your business and your schedule.

You're not looking for someone to hand you a template. You're looking for someone to help you think — then help you build.

This probably isn't for you if...

You want someone to post for you every day and manage your social media accounts. That's not what I do.

You're looking for a magic formula that works overnight. This is about building something that compounds over time.

You want AI-generated content with no soul behind it. I use AI as a tool — it handles the heavy lifting so you can focus on the work that matters — but the message always comes from you.

The name

Why Coffee Bean?

People ask about the name, so here it is.

There's an idea I love about the coffee bean. When you put a coffee bean into boiling water — an extreme environment, intense pressure — it doesn't cave. It doesn't go soft like an egg. It doesn't get hard like a carrot. It does something different. It transforms the environment around it into something better.

That's what I want for every business I work with. The market is boiling water. The algorithm is boiling water. The noise, the competition, the pressure to keep up — all boiling water. And most people either go soft and quit, or get hard and cynical about the whole thing. But the right business, with the right message, changes the environment around it. It attracts the right people. It shifts the conversation. It makes the space better just by showing up clearly.

That's the coffee bean. That's what this company is about.

Also, I just love coffee. Good coffee anyway. And anyone who doesn't is a crazy person — including my wife, who has never had a cup of coffee in her life. Has never even tried a hot drink. We all have our flaws. But I love her anyway.

I'm a man of faith, a coach at heart, and a builder by nature. I've spent years helping businesses — from healthcare companies to local service providers to faith-driven entrepreneurs — find their message and create content that actually reflects how good they are at what they do.

I care about the people I work with — not just their content metrics, but whether they're building something that's a real reflection of who they are and what they stand for.

If you want someone to sit across from you, help you find the words, and build something you're genuinely proud of — let's talk.

Let's figure out
your message.

Every engagement starts with a conversation. No pitch, no pressure — just a real talk about your business, your goals, and whether working together makes sense.
